I had a great stay at this hotel! the value for money was excellent. For just above 100 CHF per night, I got a spacious and modern room with a decent size balcony and nice furniture. The attention to detail was impressive, with a very nice terrace and an enclosed shower stall. The basic amenities provided, including a fridge, microwave oven, and induction stove, made my stay comfortable and convenient. One of my favorite aspects was the breakfast service - I could have my eggs exactly how I wanted them!
No negative aspects, everything was perfect.

The rooms are very clean and spacious with lots of light and the beds are comfortable. The bathroom was also very clean with plenty of soap and towels. Its in a quiet environment so one can relax and sleep well.
There are kitchenettes in the rooms and it is possible to use them upon request, unfortunately they are very poorly equiped there is very little cutlery and crockery, no cups, no washing up equipment which makes it quite challenging and stressful to use them.

We used the free cycle hire - the cycles were not roadworthy - neither had working brakes

I recently stayed at this hotel and I must say it exceeded my expectations. the value for money was excellent. The prices were reasonable and considering the amenities provided, it was a great deal. Secondly, the attention to detail was impeccable. From the moment I arrived, the staff made sure that I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The basic amenities in the rooms were top-notch, with comfortable beds and enclosed shower stalls. Additionally, I loved the fact that some rooms had a very nice terrace or a decent size balcony, where I could relax and enjoy the surroundings.
All aspects of my stay were excellent, nothing to improve.

The room and breakfast were wonderful. Staff was great. The person at the desk was a little strange but overall great accomodations.

The hotel is beautifully furnished, clean and the majority of the staff are very pleasant. The location is great, the breakfast is supurb and the outside patio area is very enjoyable. We had some problems booking with the manager of the hotel - even after we called him directly- but once we got there everything was straigtened out and he made things very nice for us. I would stay here again.
Manager needs to be a little more trustworthy of people coming to stay with him. He had some bad experiences with guests which caused him not to trust others - but my recommendation would be that he still has to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of service provided. The attention to detail was truly impressive, from the neatly put away shoes to the personalized breakfast options. The location, although outside of the center of Zurich, was conveniently situated adjacent to the railway track, allowing for easy access to explore the area. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, making us feel welcome and ensuring that all our needs were met. The rooms were well-appointed with nice furniture, and the addition of a decent size balcony and a very nice terrace added to the overall comfort of our stay. The enclosed shower stall was a nice touch, providing a sense of privacy. And, of course, the breakfast was delightful - I particularly appreciated being able to customize how I wanted my eggs cooked.
No negative aspects to mention, everything was great.

A double bed shouldn't be two singles joined together with separate bedding.

Good beds, nice bathroom
We explicitely asked for a room not close to the railway track, however, got the one the closest to the railway. Then I asked for a new room, and got one which was quite smaller (and darker), a bit further away (also one without a kitchinette). Obviously I made a reservation for the economy room (close to the elevator), however, my reservation was confirmed with an email, and there they should have said that I would have had a room very close to the railway (in order to avoid confusion/irritation). Checking-in takes far too much time (so far every time I was there). Wireless internet did not have much reach. With a cable it was okay though.

We had a lovely romantic getaway in a modern and clean apartment with a comfy bed and a little balcony. the self-catering area was great and had everything we needed including fast wifi. the location was perfect, just a short walk to town and easily accessible by train. the helpful reception staff gave us great tips on things to do and see in the area.
We were charged an extra fee for parking which should have been included in the price. the apartment was located next to a busy railway line which was a bit noisy at night.

Rooms are new, large and well equipped. All you need is there. Probably newly opened because the phone in the room was not connected yet neither the Internet connection worked. Good choice of TV channels.
The location of the hotel is not what written in info. To get to the airport you need more than 30 min and one train change - no direct connection. The walking distance from the Uster station is not 5, but minimum 15 minutes. No chance to do that with luggage. Hotel is located next to the train railroads - almost all night long trains are passing by and waking you up.

The room was spacious. It was actually equipped as a flat room rather than a hotel room with a fully fitted kitchen. One can actually make your own food in the room.
It is very close to the railway line. The noise of the trains is bad the whole night. (I would suggest a wall to be build on the railway side of the property. A 4.0 m high wall will help to cut about 80% of the train noise.)

The rooms at Loren are great and very well appointed, great bathroom, good bed and plenty of room to spread out. The staff was very helpful and provided an excellent service. My room was huge with a nice balcony. Top value for the money with all the facilities you could wish for, including a washing machine. Breakfast service was good and parking was arranged ahead of time.
Absolutely nothing.
